I don't have any children!. I have been married less than a week!. I consider myself much too old now to even consider starting a family!. But if I was a Dad, I would be horrified if I came across to my children in the kind of anger you describe!. Actually, in any kind of anger!. That emotion, especially when directed at children is so counterproductive!. It achieves only a fear of parent/s in a child!. And what kind of upbringing is that!? I never received it from either of my parents!. The strongest emotion I know of is love!. It truly does work miracles!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Don't have kids but when I found out my brother in law beat my sister he peed his pants when I threatened him and I'm a very small guy!. It surprised me but I think he could sense my level of anger was borderline psychotic!. However, since my sister was still with him and in the process of leaving him per her request I left it at that !. She divorced him!.

My fourteen year old did not want to tell me he missed the bus to school for the second day in a row!. He punched a telephone pole instead and broke his hand!. The doctor pondered which was worse the hand or wrath of Mom!? Kid held up his hand and said, "Mom!."Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have a needlepoint of this on each of their bedroom walls!. The frame has a wooden peg on it, and on the peg hangs a switch!. My children are positively angelic!.
