Absolutely!. I was due for a board meeting (I was not on this board btw) at the head office in Hamburg!. The first time I missed it was due to sleeping in and missed my flight!. The second time was one week later, when I left my presentation at the park & ride stop in Heathrow (long before PCs, might I add)!.
I did eventually make it on the third attempt, only to find upon my arrival, that the meeting had been rescheduled for the day I was due to return to London!. Needless to say I had to stay in Hamburg whether I liked it or not!.
But it was pretty close to losing my job!.
Funny though looking back at it!. Perfect laxative at the time though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I hate when I forget meetings at work!. I'm a part time employee so I usually come in around 10am and I hate when they schedule a meeting for early in the morning and I forget about it!. I feel so embarrassed when I come in and everyone asks me why I wasn't at the meeting!. I usually feel bad the rest of the day kinda like damn I'm a bad employee!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

My boss called 10 mins after the start of my shift to ask if I was coming in!.!.!. I'd been sleeping, I was like, come in!.!. wait!.!.!. for!.!.!. what!? why!?
I was an hour late and a bit embarrassed but no big deal!. Tons of people used to miss like a shift a month and not even call in or apologize or care!.
I was pretty stressed I was going to get fired but I'd been working there like 2 years, it was just a coffee shop and I was supervisor!.!. and tons of new people didn't get fired for way worse!.!. So I don't know what I was worrying about!.!.!. They didn't really care!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah I've done that before, its hard to do tho considering they normally call you and remind you the day before, but if I do forget I usually just reschedule and say sorryWww@Enter-QA@Com
