Question: Survey - Are your regrets about the things you did or didn't do in life!?
I once was told that humans only ever truly regret the things they don't do, and I agree!.
I regret not asking out what must be now a platoon of girls/women throughout my life, I regret not saying things to certain people, I regret turning down things!. I don't regret things I have actually done, on the whole!.
also, anyone who says "they have no regrets" is officially lying!. We have all hesitated, been afraid or refused to do something we wish we had, even if we were too young to know better!.

I think that all the things that have happened in my life at the time I used to think what will be will be!. But now I look back I have had an eventful life to say the least and there are times when I think why did I not act and say things instead of just not bottling it all up but that is human nature!.
There are times when I was given advice and never took it and ended up married and very unhappy at the end and all the time there was a girl who loved me and I loved her and she was the one I should have spent my life with!.
Then there is the fact that my parents are no longer here and I miss them everyday but at the time we never spoke like that just went on our merry way through life and now god 5 mins talking to them I would say so much!.
But life now is what you make it and no point pondering on what if but live for the moment and I do!.
All the same the mind is complex and it never stops you thinking!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Great question!. I think it's probably a little of both, but the vast majority of my regrets are the things i DID do, rather than the things i didn't!.!. They're too shameful to name, so i'm not mentioning them!. However, I have the sneaking suspicion my mistakes have made me appreciate a lot more than i did before, so its possible i'd have more regretted not doing them!. Without my past mistakes i wouldn't have learnt enough to change, which means i wouldn't have the life i have now - which is very good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'd probably say that if I'm guilty of anything, it's over-doing so that I don't regret things!. So I regret more of the things I've actually done because of the fear of regretting not doing something!. (I hope you understand) But, have you ever gone back and done something/said something because you regretted not doing it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Then that person hasn't lived long enough!.
You don't know what might have happened had you said yes to those things!. Life could've been more interesting, but maybe not for the best!. You never can tell!.
If someone says they have no regrets, then lucky them!. Somehow in their innocence they've escaped the evils of life!.!.!. for now!.

Interestingly, i regret the things i did more, i give anything a go once is my motto, which is actually a really stupid way of living, because i regret 99% of things i did, but having said that, i would be more upset if i hadn't done anything, so, you're rightWww@Enter-QA@Com
I once heard that "fools live to regret their words, wise men to regret their silence!." Don't know what category I m in, but I certainly regret NOT doing some things more than the ones I did!. I know now that if you risk nothing, you risk everything! Www@Enter-QA@Com
It would have to be the things I haven't done - seems easier to live with the regret of not doing something, as opposed to regretting doing something!. Maybe when people say they have 'no regrets', they are referring to what they have done!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Honestly, I spent a lot of my life thinking about the things I regret and by doing that I realised I was missing out on things because of regrets, leave your regrets in the past were they belong and live life to the full, that's what its there for, enjoy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i married at 19 ,, i never had any boyfriends b4 hubby,, i never partied hard and got drunk ect ect
my parents were strict, i never did anything against their wishes,, i let my 1st love go because they told me i wasnt allowed to have a boyfriend till 17
ive only kissed one man in my life [my husband], i wonder now how life would have been if i took chances and rebelled a little
its too late 4 me now,, im 33 and married with 4 kids,, but a day never goes by where i dont regret alot of things i never did

The girl I was smitten by when I was about 22 seemed smitten by me but she had previously had and adopted out a baby!. The father was a brain dead drop kick who had treated her like rubbish!.
Well one night I went to her house and brain dead's car was in the driveway!. I drove past - never seeing her again!.
15 years later her father explained that he had called brain dead there to tell him that his daughter was happy (with me) and that he and his phone calls and approaches were not needed!. (Her father went on to explain that she was devastated when I didn't answer the phone or open the door)
So!. I regret what I DID do:

> Calling and finding out why
But I don't regret how my life turned out!. My wonderful children, my successful career, my good health!. Who knows which part of me wouldn't have been the same!.

All the experiences in your life have got you to the point you are at now!. To regret these things is to wish to be someone else!.
You must pinch yourself and not regret things!. Sometimes I look back at an event in my life where I left a girl who I truly loved (Its strange but I cant even really remember why now) and I almost catch myself thinking about what would have happened if we hadn't separated!. After all she certainly loved me, she was beautifull and the s*x was amazing!. She was even rich!.
But then I remember that I trust my own judgement more than my memory and there must have been a damn good reason why I ended it!. Now I have two beautifull kids that would never have been born if I hadnt made the choices I did!. The moral !?!?!. Never regret anything !!!!
