I used to be scared to fall in love, simply because of that exact reason you speak of, however, I realized that being scared means that I have a guard up!. And ultimately you can't or atleast shouldn't have a guard up, I just had to realize that I can't love with my whole heart if I was like that!. I also wasn't letting anyone in then!. So just realizing that, heartache is a chance you're taking no matter what, and if it happens we are all human and will pick up the pieces and move on eventually!.

Probably less scary than being cynical of everything and believing that these concepts are a farce on the face of them and that the language we use does not well describe the nature of reality in these situations!. I imagine you're better off buying it and losing it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It sure is scary!. I always wondered when it was going to end!. It finally ended!. All of a sudden, too!. It feels so good at the time you're in love, but once it ends: Kaboom! Yes it can be scary!. I met my wife in high school and we dated but did not really fall in love, but during college we started dating again and fell deeply in love!. We have now been married for 25 years and have 3 great sons!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
