Question: Don't you think The Scarlet Pimpernel has the worst "romantic" ending!?
Something reminded me--I don't know what--of how I hate the ending of The Scarlet Pimpernel!. So, I'm here to rant about it!.
I mean, the book was great with mystery and not too cheesy romance, until the end!. Why would he carry her all that way because her FEET hurt while he's rapidly losing blood!. She looks up and sees his face and he's having a hard time, but persevering because of love!.
Are you kidding me!? I'm not married, but if I do, I want to think that I'd be on my own feet, trying to support him as he walked to the boat!.
Am I the only one who dislikes this about the ending!?
