Question: Does anyone actually work hard to earn their celebrity title anymore!?
Back in the day it used to be people earned and worked hard to get to where they are!. But now all they have to do is win a reality show or be a sister or family member of a celebrity!. Examples: Ashley Simpson, Natasha Beddingfield, Miley Cyrus!. The list goes on and on!.
Maybe its just me, but I always thought part of being a celebrity is you had to work hard to get to where you are!. Winning American Idol in my opinion is not working hard!. You dont suffer or struggle or anything, you just compete with others in a show!. Just seems like all that has disappeared!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I learned this in film class, there is a huge difference between being a celebrity and being a star!.
nowadays being a celebrity just means people know your name all over the place!. you don't even have to be talented!. ex: Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian, leaked homemade videos is what made them famous, besides that!? talentless!.
Stars however are actually decent people that work for a living and have talent, something to back up their name!. you are never going to hear people put a talent comparison between like Julia Roberts and Paris Hilton's acting abilities!.
so while stars can also be refered as celebs!.!.!. it usually doesn't occur the other way around!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I totally agree with your logic!. You don't even need to be good at anything anymore to get recognized!. You can just be attractive, know someone who knows someone, or have a drug problem!. Working for a celebrity title isn't valid anymore unfortunately!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yeah!. All part of this something-for-nothing attitude!. It bugs me a little bit on X-Factor when you see these people saying "I can only imagine myself doing this, I wouldn't be happy doing anything else", which I think sounds like "I don't want to work hard at a proper job like everybody else does"Www@Enter-QA@Com

I disagree!. American Idol is a search for talent!. These people that go far are real singers and have spent a lot of time mastering their craft, just hadn't been discovered yet!. Then when they win they still have to work hard because they are up against pro's!. Look, how hard it is for those who are trying to Making the Band or I Want to work for Diddy, Diddy puts those people through a lot!. Even those who go on reality shows, and then follow them in another is showing us what they have to go through to get into the industry!. A lot of auditions and a lot of training, etc, so I disagree
