why have a cell phone if you don't answer it!? and what if there were an emergency!? what if i needed to get in touch with that person right then and there!? what if it couldn't wait!? too bad! they don't answer their phone!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Ok, my issue is not with people not answering their phone!. That's fine!. People have lives; we're all busy and most of the time a phone call or text is not a first priority!. Here's what rubs me the wrong way --> I call or text someone to say hi, see how they're doing, invite them to something, etc!. and then they don't get back to me!. I see it as rude and lazy!. If I am a good enough friend/family member/whatever to get in touch with you, surely it's not unreasonable to hear back from the other person within a week!. Right!? I don't know!. I always do my best to answer all calls and texts within a day or 2 of receiving them!. Obviously the people I am closer to or who have more pressing issues take priority!. But I don't want to make anyone, even if they are just an acquaintance, feel as if they're unimportant!.!.!.or worse yet, make them think that I feel as if I'm "too good" to get back to them!. Rude rude rude!. But that's just my outlook on the situation!. Tell your parents how it makes you feel and ask them to try to return your call within like 24-48 hours!. I didn't really want to answer this question - but I thought about it and I had to say one thing: For some people they can text faster than they can look for their number through the contact list, wait for them to pick up, and tell them!. SO much easier to text!. And some people are very shy and anxious where they actually have a FEAR of talking to someone!. So, texting is easier that way!. OMFG This is the one I've been waiting for! My bf does that CONSTANTLY!. He treats it like a regular phone and leaves it lying around all the time!. But he keeps it on vibrate and never hears it!. It makes me insane! Seriously, what if I was on fire and needed to be doused!? Honestly!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Lord, you sound like my boyfriend!.!.!. Sometimes, I have the phone in my purse or out of view and it's on silent!.!.!. I'll get to it, but sometimes it's not my main thing!. I can't stand people who revolve their lives aroudn their phone ringing!.!. Now that's annoying!Www@Enter-QA@Com

LOL your parents are from a time before there used to be cell phones!. We used to leave the house without having them so maybe they're not used to always having them with them or maybe they don't think to take them all the time or maybe they don't want to have it with them all the time!. Maybe that's why they're not answering is just because they don't have it with them!. I'm sure if they had it and saw you were calling them, they'd pick up right away hon!. LOL set up a time when you tell them you want to call them and tell them you're worried about them and want to make sure everything is okay and see if that might work out a little better!.
