The hiring manager and the HR lady interviewed me at the same time!. They didn't like each others questions, the hiring manager was hyper and kept talking over the HR lady until she sort of sat back and shut up!. Then, when I was showing them my portfolio, the hiring manager was holding it so only she could look at it properly and the HR lady was falling asleep!!
I felt like an accessory and don't even know if they heard 1/2 of what I said due to their own little inside battle for supremacy!. Too weird!.

I think it had to be one two weeks ago!. I was the interviewer, not the interviewee, though!.
My boss quit about 7 weeks ago, and we're trying to find a replacement for her!. Well, this woman who was supposed to have an interview got a flat on the way to the interview!. She called 15 minutes after she was supposed to be here to say she changed her tire and was now a mess, so she wouldn't make the interview!.
She rescheduled for the following week!. When she came in, she started to pull things off my shelves and asked if I had done them!. She actually shuffled through a stack of papers!. Then, she was telling me about the flat and how it happened a few blocks from where the office is!. Really!? She was such a mess that she couldn't come here, but since she was in the area, she went sightseeing instead!. She volunteered all of this to me! And finally, when I was walking her out of the office, she started to stop at people's cubicles and stare over the walls at them! I was thinking, "OMG!" I had to run around and apologize to everyone I work with afterwards!.

I don't know about worst actual interview, but a couple of weeks after an interview (for a job I didn't get) I saw the guy who interviewed me naked on a TV commercial!. (The commercial was for his company!.) Serious! So glad I didn't get that job !.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The interviewer was drunk!. Sloppy, slurring words smelly drunk!. It was for a bartending job in a very upscale restaurant!. I took the job because I needed it and it paid extremely well!. Fortunately, the drunk guy got fired!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
