Question: How many of the adults remember that back in the day they could get loads of candy for a dollar!?

I remember & I lived in Baltimore City & we had a grocery store on each end of my street!. I am naturally intuitive & the one store had a game where you put a penny in the top & drop it & if it hits the bullseye you win a 5cent candy bar!.!.Actually, I knew about the power fo visualization so I would see the penny go to the bullseye & win everytime!.!.then my friends wanted me to do that for them!.!.!.at 8 years old I was kicked out of the store!.!.!.I was so good everyone always called me an angel!. So my father went over to fight or talk to the grocer & tell him he couldn't keep me from coming in the store!.!.My father was a mailman but gambled so we had financial problems & my father ended up working there at night & on his day off!. They ended up taking the game & putting it in the back so I wouldn't use it!. I am almost 50 years old now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm not even an adult and even I remember these 10p 'Freddo's' and 'Chomps' (about 20 cents to you) - I looked recently and they've gone up to 15p since I used to buy them!.

oh yeah!.!.!.when i was a teenager there was a country store in the town where i lived that had penny candy!. you could really stretch a dollar there!. those were the good old days!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
