Absolutely! I live out in the sticks of nth NSW Australia though and I wish that the modern pace of life allowed for foot power!. As for hands, I get better results when i'm crafting something if I use my hands instead of power tools!. Although then there's my handwriting, if you were trying to read this in my own handwriting you would tear your hair out in frustration!
