Question: Is it weird for a girl to play the bass!?
i wanted to play guitar but everybody does it and i dont know very many people who play bass but when i told my dad that he just started laughing saying how he can only imagine "strung up guys playing"!. would you say bass isnt for a girl!? im a junior in hs and really want to learn to play before i go to collegeWww@Enter-QA@Com

That's not weird at all!. I took bass lessons!. I'm only 5 feet tall, and my measurements of 38-23-33, definitely means, I can't be mistaken for a guy!

I'm surprised you got that reaction from your father!. Maybe he thinks you're not serious!. Sit him down and look him in the eyes!. Let him know it's something you want to do and I'm sure his tune will change!. Sometimes parents just get used to their kids changing their minds like they change socks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
