It annoys me , big rat -a- tat on door like the police, open to find a guy (or lady) well dressed in navy suit, shows ID, smiles and starts the pitch!. Nonstop verbal diarhoeh! It is usually same time we are about to eat our tea!.!.you didnt ask them to call, and you don't need their gas prices or want your carpets cleaned!.!.!.why are they not outlawed here!? Yes they are annoying, I usually tell them that my husband deals with everything and that he won't be home until the weekend, that usually does the trick!. Or if it is after 7 and I am not expecting anyone I just don't answer the door, As for the phone I just politely tell them I'm not interested!. They do call at stupid times though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You can put a sign on your door saying no cold callers, that helps!. My mum and dad have one!. I always just tell them I'm only renting this house (even though I'm the owner) and that sends 99% of them running cos they know that tenants are not authorised to do anything to a property!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
