I have had to reconcile my principles with reality!. I am considered a nonconformist by pretty much everyone but I work for a major corp!. It affords me a comfortable life and I use the excess to provide money to groups I believe in, (Smiletrain and Children International)!. I still try to live my life righteously, question authority and piss in the man's eye when I can!. I take great pride in being misunderstood by folks who did sell out or never got the message in the first damn place!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Principles can be changed values can not!. I refused a valuable long service award, made of silver, because my boss halved an independent pay award which he had agreed beforehand to honour!. This was hypocrisy of the highest order!. The long service award was to express how much i was valued yet apparently i was not valued enough to deserve the independent pay amount!. I am still proud of my actions to this day!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
I did sell out!.!.!.!. At Uni I was the one who would change the world, until the beautiful complexities of income tax, repaying student loans and the shaving of a beard seduced me into a working life!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You know, it's might not be a bad thing to 'sell out' every now and again - your principles could be dead dogmas/old dated/ridiculous!.
