Two homes, and technically we NEVER have a power outage !!
Both homes have solar, wind, and diesel back-ups: The California ranch because the winter snow storms can cut us off from PG&E for two weeks at a time!.!.!. thankfully, our heat is from a wood-stove, we cook on propane, so electricty is just for lights, TV, and the computers!.
Our farm in the Philippines has the back-up because the local power system is SO screwed up it's frightening !! A typhoon blew through over Saturday night, and our neighbors are still without power!.!.!. they're all borrowing space in our fridges and freezers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
