This is actually a little known fact: the Italians invented soup!.
You see, before Scrabble as we know it today was ever invented, the Italians played the word game using limp noodles to form the letters!. These two guys were playing and one played all seven letters!. His opponent got so mad, in a fit of anger, he knocked the board over and all the letters fell into a pot nearby where they were boiling chicken!.
The victorious player tried spooning the noodles out, grew tired in his efforts and, since he was hungry anyway, began eating them!. Hence, the first bowl of chicken noodle soup was discovered!.
