Ok!. I think you and Phil are both great folks!. That said, I will give you and the rest of the people an unbiased answer!. Since you usually ask and best answer questions before I get home from work I can do so, as I am usually just reading the answers and not in "competition" for best answer!.
That said, I can see where some people get this idea, as you have given Phil many best answers, when there were several better answers to choose from, just because Phil had answered with something endearing!.
Pinhead did have a point when he said you can't buy anything with points or a top contributor's banner!.
That said, Phil does give a lot of great answers!. I have always liked his answers before you two became an item!. He got a lot of best answers then, and sometimes didn't get ones he did deserve!.
What it seems folks are talking about is when you give Phil the BA just because he said something sweet, when other folk had put more effort into a serious and/or funny answer!. Maybe you aren't intentionally being 'biased' but it appears to many to be that way!.
I think it's great that you and Phil are so happy!. I personally don't care how many best answers I get and I know I will never have a top contributors banner, because you have to tie yourself to one category in order to do that!.
Since I spread my knowledge and humor in any category, I will never be a top contributor, even though I have a higher best answer rating than most that wear a pretty orange banner!. I have freely earned every best answer on the merit of my knowledge and/or humor!. Not because I was anyone's favorite!.
Sometimes people just complain because they see someone else happy!. I'm not worried about it!. The novelty will wear off at some point and you will go back to your old ways of giving out best answers!.
Some people tend to forget that we are here to have fun!. Points and banners are pretty meaningless!. Jo and Phil are just acting like most people young in love do!. Take it with a grain of salt as it will wear off eventually!. If you're that worried that Phil's getting too many BA's at the moment then don't answer!. There's plenty of other askers on YA!
