Nothing at all!. They were both once living animals!. Its just the perception!. A collie is a "pet" somehow better than a fox!. Its as though people see it as more human!. A fox is an untamed wild animal, I guess they see that wearing clothes made of fox shows that maybe they are wild, untamed, or something like that!. I guess its just a perception of shallow people!.
