Yes i in fact ran out of tears a couple weeks ago when my grandfather died!.
But your tear ducts constantly make tears its what keeps your eyes from drying out!. What causes them to come out its when the ducts over-product and you get tears so to speak!. When i said i ran out of tears i meant that at that moment i cried so much that i couldnt cry anymore i had cried myself dry then when i got sleep i was replenishedWww@Enter-QA@Com
