I'm self conscious only to the point where I care about how I look!. I won't go crazy if I don't look good enough, but I do my best to take care of myself before I leave the house!. If for some unforeseen circumstances I need to run out looking a mess, I try not to let it affect how I feel about myself!.
When I was younger, I was much less sure about my looks!. Today as I've aged (close to 40 now), I hold my head high and am confident!. The funny thing is, even though I'm older, I get hit on much more than I did when I was younger and thinner! Because it's all about the attitude and how you carry yourself more than anything else!. It's amazing!
And yes, I do feel comfortable when I go out in public!. I'll always say that I'm no Miss America, but I carry myself with pride in who I am and what I have!.!.!.that makes me very comfortable being out in public!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I feel fine when I'm out in public as long as their aren't people my age around!. Especially girls, we are so judgmental!. Well, I'm not but loads are!. And I am SO self conscious about my looks!. I have curly hair I always have to straighten, I don't have the best skin in the world and it's ghostly white!. I'm not particularly skinny and I'm not like most girls!. My best friend is gorgeous in almost every way and that really doesn't help me!. Guys are always looking her way and she always has a boyfriend (not that she's a skank!. I'm comfortable with the way I look!. At 40, if I have a flaw that bugs me, I either deal with it or accept it!. I'm at a point in my life where how I look isn't a determining factor in whether or not people like me, or if I like myself!. Middle age is a much different world than young adult!. i was until i hit 30 and then stopped caring about what others think!. trust me, i have serious flaws about my appearance!. how would you like to have Spock ears!? i always had long hair to cover them but now it's short and over the ears!. you just hit that point in life where you just accept what mom and dad gave you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
