Question: Why is everyone trying to be scene & emo!?
i'm 14, going into 8th grade!. and at my school everyone is trying to be all emo & scene, escpecially girls! it is soo annoying because i've been into hot topic & the scene style since 5th grade!.!.and everyone is just doing it because all the hot bands are punk & they all wanna look hot so they can get emo guys or whatever,
it really annoys me because theyre all trying to be someone theyre not!.
and i hate posers!!
why cant anyone just be themselves anymore!?!?
is it just me, or does this annoy anyone else too!?

When it comes too breaking down this "fad" everyone's a fake!. Scene/emo is going to be out in a few years, and people who look back at it will see how pathetic they once looked!. I've been through my scene/emo stage, and it wasn't really as special as it seems!. It's just something teenagers go through, and we just have too learn too deal with it until we could find ourselves the right too consider people original!.

i think people cant really be 'themselves' because being your self can change!.
they arnt complete posers, if the listen to the music and know the bands, they are not posers at all!.
But dont let this change how you want to dress (:

well who cares about the style!.!.probably they just changed their style and they like it and r comfortable with it, but if they label themselves as emo or scene then u can call them posers because they shouldn't label themselves!.
