A friend of mine made a very good point; If we evolved from apes why are there still apes!?
Edit- The theory of evolution is a long complicated subject with most people having Darwin come to mind who at least when I went to school (who knows maybe I'm so old it's changed) believed we descended/evolved from apes!. I don't see the comparing of people coming from Europe to the Americas!.

Good grief this is P&S!. A long serious discussion is better made in R&S!. I remember being in Biology class and the pictures of Darwin in the book were the comic one of him drawn like an ape or monkey or whatever you want to call it and the one with the progression from ape to man!. So unless you're really interested in all the aspects of evolution it's the first thing that comes to mind!.

(shrugs) If people don't believe in evolutionary theory, they're free to stop using the technology that was developed as a result of it!. You know, vaccines, modern antibiotics, virtually the entire field of genetics!.!.!.none of which would have been possible without the breakthroughs of evolutionary science!. So, what do you say!?
