Vitiligo!. That's the name of the skin disease!. Some people of color, as they get older, break out in patches where their skin thins out and loses *melanin*--the darker pigment!. This is what happened with MJ!.
Of course, his fondness for plastic surgery didn't help matters--skin damage has a habit of speeding up the disease, whether it's scar tissue from burns or surgeries!. And nobody could have guessed that one common solution to the problem--pre-emptively bleaching out the facial skin to get an even tone--would look so hideous on him!.
But yeah!. It's Vitiligo!. It just looks way worse than what it has to, thanks to MJ's poor judgement!. What else is new!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

all i know is that it turns black skin white!. it starts in one place and spreads around your body!. when you get to a certain percent of your body covered in this, you can choose to dye your skin the lighter color!. this is what he didWww@Enter-QA@Com

he had some skin (pigmentation) disease, then sorta coupled it with some medical blah blah (idk what it's called), pro'lly to even out the skin tone or something!.

The reason he went white is because!.!.!.!.
He has a skin disease, not sure what it's called but yeah, it affects your skin, so white patches go all over your body, then they eventually just make your whole body white!.
