Question: Are pregnant woman and old people selfish for expecting you to give your seat up on public transport!?
I mean the other day i graciously gave up my seat for a young lady without even a thank you, then when she got off some old codger got on and i felt obliged to do the same and for my efforts received some sort of grunt out of him!.

It is really polite to give up your seat for them, and definitely ignorant for them not to say thank you!. It's not like you Had to give them your seat!.!.!. But!.!. I would do neither of those things, cause it's better to do something nice for someone, even if you get no recognition for it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I ride a train with reserved seating for seniors and disabled!. I'm 70% disabled per the VA, and the train folks gave me a disability ID card!.

No, you are if you don't extend the courtesy!. I'm proud of you and your manners, you were raised well!. We usually give our seats to pregnant women, old ppl, ppl with disabilities 'cause they need it more than us who r healthy and don't have any problem standing on our fee!. U could listen to music at home! Some of them might b a bit paranoiac or impolite but we should always respect them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
