Of course its okay! Jesus christ what does he expect you to cover up and overheat here!? Walk around in a bra and underwear if you need too! Besides, short shorts arent bad at ALL!. If you two went to the beach he'd see more skin!. Just tell him casually as you walk out, "I had to wear these things cause its so hot in here!." And complain about the heat!. That wont turn him on or give him the wrong impression!.
