Question: When one uses a saying should they not stand by their own words!?
"There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: 1) not going all the way; and 2) not starting!." Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I would have thought there was a third mistake taking a detour and calling it the truth when it is not!.

Perhaps that is the situation here, an honest mistake!.

Never assume the person is a hypocrite until you are certain of what they think they know even if you can't believe it!.

That doesn't make sense!. A person cannot not go all the way and not start!. It's either or!.

And I'm not entirely certain what exactly you mean!. Are you saying that a person must be dedicated in finding the truth, the way people in movies are dedicated to finding the truth when it turns out to be some huge conspiracy that no one ever questioned before because they either never started on the road to truth or never went all the way on the road to truth!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree whole heartedly with what your saying!. When you try to be serious about something in your words, make sure they are your beliefs and youir principles!. I find far too many people are do what they say and not do what they do!
entirely two sets of standards and that is exactly whats wrong with the politicians of these country! ( U!.S!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com

It means you should finish what you start and try everything you can!.

And yes they should stand by their owns words or they being a hypocriteWww@Enter-QA@Com

That's what I kept trying to tell all the girls when I was in high school, but they just wouldn't listen!. LOLWww@Enter-QA@Com
