I'm with you!. I don't want shrunken TV!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'd much rather watch a movie in the original aspect ratio than watch pan and scan any day!. It looks like crap when the sides are chopped off!. I argue with my friends all the time about this!. You are seeing the whole picture when it is letterboxed, not pan and scan!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't care how it was shot originally, I want the whole TV screen to be filled with PICTURE, not black stuff! It's taking the same amount of electricity, so why am I paying to watch half a blank screen!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Wide screen is the original way the movie was shot!.!.!.!.!.!. With full screen you get a compressed view of the picture!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
So in reality when you watch full screen its actually smaller then the wide screen pictureWww@Enter-QA@Com

No, I find fullscreen annoying!. I don't mind the black bars!. I also don't mind black bars to the right and left when I'm watching a 4:1 show on a widescreen TV!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Most modern DvDs give you a choice, wide-screen or full screen, you pay your money, you make your choice!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I actually don't mind!. What annoys me is when you can't skip or scan past the previews at the beginning!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
