Question: Serious poll that sounds daft Can you keep face cloths nice for long!?
I am fussy and obsessive about keeping clean yet my face cloths need replacing very often!. they are lovely as you know when new then the colour goes really quickly and they end up looking like car dusters!. What if anything could I be doing wrong!. I don`t use make up so it can`t be that!. I wash them out thoroughly after using!. I am lucky that`s all I have to worry about!. not chatting just checking to see what other folk sayWww@Enter-QA@Com

I only use a face cloth for my intimate areas!. I find if you use bath oils or body washes they get icky very quickly!.
I always pop the cloth into the boil wash in the machine!.
Now days I use body scrubs in the shower, with one of those fancy puffy things!. Sure you know what I mean!
They are 2 a penny and can be thrown away!.
Shame you have had some nasty replies to this!. It is an important question!. Some people may be bathing with a cloth full of nasty bacteria!. They say 'get a life'!. They may die from infected wash cloths!

I never use face cloths because I was led to believe that, for the same reason one should not use damp towels, they can transmit infection (e!.g!. yeast/fungus/candida albicans)!. If you can boil them after each use it is more hygienic!.
However, I think they can look discoloured simply because of the amount of rubbing/abrasion they receive in the same small area, and from the colouring in any soap/gel you may use with them!.!. If you were using the same part of one towel with the same frequency you use a facecloth, it would soon be threadbare!. The best thing is to keep replacing them - they're cheap enough - even Tesco & Asda sell them for less than 25p!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Seriously!? I would consider using 100% cotton white clothes, and washing them with bleach, oxyclean, or baking soda!. Then when they go bad just use them for car and house clothes!. Save your fancies for when the guests come over!. No one sees you except for family anyway!. Be like the old United States grandma's are: keep that plastic delivery cover on the couch forever to keep it clean!. No matter that you paid $3500 dollars for it and you bought it to show it off as a nice fancy peice of furniture!. Gawd forbide anyone put a mark on it!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Maybe instead of having one and using it to death you buy yourself lots and then rotate them and wash them along with the towels!.They will last and look better for longer that way!.

they don't stay nice for long, probably because they are aways wet and soapy, just keep replacing them, they are quite cheap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I only use white ones and soak them after use then put them in with a white wash!. I used to use the ones that matched my towels!. but had the same problem as you!.
