I do feel sorry for them however; I feel like if they can stand on a corner and beg for money then they could be going to work everyday!. I realize some may have mental problems and can't function!. But it just makes me wonder how they got like that!. It is very sad though!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The majority of people in America are closer to being homeless than ever with the economy in the state it's in right now!.

I don't usually feel sorry for them!. Homeless children I feel sorry for!. I was homeless for a while, and in less than 3 months I saved up the money (by getting a job) and started renting out an apartment!. I don't think they have excuses really, except they want to mooch off of people!. And I feel sorry for the homeless children I've fed at the House of Bread!. They are just too little to help themselves and their parents are just not trying for them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It all depends on their "situation"!.!.!. those who got there through alcohol and or drugs are LESS likely to get my sympathy, but those who were pushed there by the economy might!.
YES, I'm a push-over!. I let a recently homeless guy I knew crash at my place for two months to get back on his feet!. He had a JOB, but just couldn't afford the security deposit at the time!. That was 5 years ago, and NOW he is just fine: still working, nice clean home, and a smart GF keeping his life straight!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes and no!. I do feel sympathy for them but also wonder if they could get a job if they tried!. However, I recognize that some of them are dealing with other issues like mental illness!. So, I guess I have mixed feelings about it!. But I have given money to them before!. I know!.!.!.they might just spend it on booze!.
