Question: Is it possible to be driven insane by staring at the same 4 walls!?
I'm stuck in the house after having my foot speared on holiday, I can't walk so going out is out of the question!. How long before I lose my marbles!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes it's possible!. More likely if you don't keep reminding yourself "I'm keeping it together!."
However try to look on it as an opportunity to rest and recuperate!. Change your frame of reference - most of the permanently severely physically disabled don't actually go insane as such!. (I volunteered for support group for them in my youth!.) The mere fact that you are on here indicates you have Internet access!. Try http://www!.bored!.com as a starting point!. also ask, answer and discover Q's & As on here - this will help!. Catch up on your emails, instant message people (who have the time!), do sitting only exercises, visit http://www!.howstuffworks!.com or lose yourself in an online world like http://www!.secondlife!.com (need a high spec graphics PC for this particular one!.)

It will be much easier for you to not lose your marbles if your friends and family visit you, also chating with real people on line will help to some degree!.

Yes it is possible to be driven mad looking at the same 4 walls!. Been there and done that and it was even worse by being made to watch stupid kids cartoons!. I lasted a week before I cracked and went out against doctors orders!. Downside to that was that ended up more ill than I already was !.
