Stop showing the guys face every 5 seconds during prime time to get my attention!. Enough Breaking News stories every time he gets another medal!. D'ah! Don't worry once the baseball playoffs start and pro and college football heats up this fall people will forget about the Olympics!. Like it or not it's just the way it is!. This is a two week event with maybe a two week - one month after effect, maybe longer because of Phelps!. It'll die down soon!.

You're right about other athletes being neglected!. Sports media has really put a bad taste in my mouth lately with the Favre and Phelps worship!. I feel sorry for kids that watch this crap and are being taught that individual achievement and well being is more important than team chemistry!. I'm not tired!.

He's only single greatest swimmer and probably the single greatest Olympian of all time!. And it's nice when the best guy in the world comes from your own country!. We'll probably never see anyone do anything like that in the rest of our lifetime!.

I absolutely agree!. I don't think he's the greatest olympian ever!. I just think he is a great athlete who happens to be in a sport that allows him to attempt 8 gold medals!. There are plenty of greater olympians, they just pick the wrong sport to get noticed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
