my dad works at a restaurant and let me tell you that people dont really give the 15 percent!. They usually go to 10-15 percent!. Like whenever he has a big table or party, then he gets like 20 percent!. But it all depends on how your waiter/waitress treats you and their kindness, etc!. but there is no "rule" that you have to leave tip!. So yes, if your waiter is really mean, and rude, well you know drop a penny!Www@Enter-QA@Com

15% is only a rule for really cheap people!. Everyone should leave 20% for acceptable service!. I leave 25-30% because I have waited tables in the past!. I may leave more if the server was especially good and didn't annoy me too much!. If they are really really bad, I might leave a note instead of money!. After working as a server I always leave a tip 15% for bad service 20% for ok service and higher for great service!. I would never stiff or under tip a server for bad service, many times you don't know what is going on in the restaurant and many times things are not even that servers fault!. Please always tip many times those employees are working for as little as $2!.00/hr !.!.!. they live off of your tips!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
it all depends on the level of service provided!.!.!. there have been some times when i left a "tip" written on a napkin saying "one small smile might mean the world to one person throughout your day" and left it at that and there have been other times when i've left tips closer to 40 or 50% because the person was busting their butt to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we neededWww@Enter-QA@Com
I give what I feel is deserved!. If I have had bad service, I will leave a nickel out of principle!.

I stay within the 15 percent vacinity, but sort of leave it up to my own judgment is service was crappy or really great I'll leave a bit less or more, usually around 10 for crappy and 20 for great!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
20% , anyone who works on her feet all day or night has earned more than minimum wage!.!.!.and if she does it with a smile and simple courtesy she deserves it!. We usually leave a couple of quid!. If the full price of a meal was say for example ￡70 there is no way in HELL I'm leaving anywhere near 10%! It'd be nearly a tenner!. I don't have money to burn!
