I watch a lot of foreign films and prefer subtitles to dubbing!. After a short time I feel as if I'm actually understanding the foreign language dialogue rather than reading English subtitles, whereas with dubbing I am often distracted by the discrepancies in synchronisation!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes and no!.
There are a lot of great movies that I couldn't see if I didn't tolerate the subtitles !.
But at the same time the subtitles irritate the hell out of me because I can't be reading them and watching what's happening at the same time!.
It's about time they came up with the technology to have audible subtitles!.(I don't mean dubbing)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Being fluent in English, Spanish and French, I rarely need them (what I mean by this is it enables me to watch many movies in its original language) in my humble opinion a storyline can describe a movie, even if one doesn't understand what's being said!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Not usually because i find it irritating!. It makes me loose focus of the film and i just read the writing so i don't really take in what's happening in the film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
nooooooo!.!.!.I so cant multi task!! If I have to read subtitles, I dont get to see the picture!
We got Mel Gisbons movie!.!.blood of the christ or whatever it was!.!.it was a burnt copy!.!.so I had a go at the guy that burnt it for us and demanded an english version!.!.he laffed and told me that was how it came (see I keep telling yas Im blonde! lol) I hate subtitles :PWww@Enter-QA@Com
