Learning how really dangerous curves could be in HS!.!.!. I always wanted to be skinny and I hate how I was so curvy, while my friends were straight up and down!. My mom finally sat me down one day, tired of hearing me complain about being fat, which I wasn't and let me know that being curvy was just one of the many benefits of being Puerto Rican!.!. It was in my blood and it would never change, so either accept it or cry about it!. And if knew my mom, crying wasn't an option! lol Then I started noticing all of these beautiful Puerto Rican women around me who were just like me!.!.
