Wow, this one has happened many times!. Most people, will NOT finish their food!. They will retain the manager and go from there!.
I can tell you what i've seen in 20+ years of food-service!.
Glass shards in water glass due to server not scooping ice with scoop but, rather using the glass itself!.
Finger cot: a small condom-looking item that covers a wound, ending up in food!.
Seafood with parasites still in them when served!.
Bugs of all types ending up in food usually salads!.
Fingernail parts in food
Rotten proteins ie, steak, seafood, poultry, still being served when obviously spoiled!.
Food that has been contaminated by chemicals like bleach, oven cleaner, stainless steel cleaner!.
and finally, rare but it's happened, pieces or parts of human anatomy in food due to hacking a part off!.
I know these all seem beyond gross!. I had dinner one night with a girlfriend at a very expensive place!. and we both ordered Caesar salads, mine had a very large dead moth in it!. When I showed this to the girl I was with, she commented about it and then continued to eat her salad!. I then asked her if she thought that since we both had the same salad, did she think they were tossed in two-different bowls!? She still didn't get it, and she worked as a server!. I won't eat and would probably talk to the manager!. I would never go back to that place and I would most likely write an article about my experience!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
