i've never liked poetry!.!.!.maybe i just don't "get" it!. i remember in school we had to read poems, and then the teacher would ask us what they meant!. if someone offered an interpretation that was not what she considered correct, they were told they were wrong!. that's crappy, i think poetry should be open to interpretation by the reader

I do like the old Norse poetry, and a lot of the old extant poetry!.
I can't stand all this flowery, "I love the world, oh look at the beautiful nature, oh I'm so sad my lover died, etc, etc" crap though!.
