One of the unique characteristics of the human organism is its capacity for intellectual development!. Because the frontal lobe never recedes like it does in other primates, humans retain the capacity to learn rapidly even after they've grown for a few years, and the upshot of this is that a second revolution in cognitive development takes place, usually starting around 12 or 13 and continuing into young adulthood!.
One of the things that develops late is the ability to assess risk and consequences, which is an important factor when considering having sexual intercourse with someone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
