On the surface, Immortality sounds cool - you have infinite time to do all the things you want, and see all the places you want to go, as many times as you like!. But you should consider all the factors, since this is life and not a cartoon!.
Death is the natural part lifes cycle!.
You'd lose all your friends and family (but can make new friends)!.
Would you age, just more slowly!? Or do you pick when it starts!?
You'd have to endure all of the societal problems, wars, taxes, pollution, etc that happen and will continue to happen!.
Immortality doesn't mean you'd be free from sickness and disease!? No!. If you were terminally ill or crippled, then you'd be that way FOREVER!. That would suck!.
And, you'd have to work forever, to continue to have money to live!. Immortality doesn't mean infinitely rich, or perfect health forever, it just means you'd live forever but not what condition you'd live in!.
There are a lot of cool things about immortality, and you'd be able to see advancements in science, healthcare, have different jobs, do more to help others, etc!., but you have to be able to accept all of the every day things in life too, like work, health, taxes, population explosions, costs of everything going up, etc!.
Unless I could ask for other stipulations, I don't think I'd want Immortality, but it'd be fun to have an extra 50 years added!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, because at some point i would be so old and in constant pain while I was deaf and blind that I would want to to die and couldn't!. Death is natural and I don't think anybody should receive immortality unless they were crazy!. I would hate just lieing on a bed all day pretty much being a vegetable!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time!. also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end!." So part of us wants to live forever!. Maybe that is why I like Highlander so much!Www@Enter-QA@Com
