I love sci-fi, favorite is from the early "70's--"Soylent Green" with Charlton Heston, Edward G!. Robinson!.
It's scary how much of it has come to pas in 30 years with global warming & 90 per cent of the major fish depleted from the oceans!.

Seems like Cloverfield gets mixed reviews, mostly from a so-so story line and a 'jiggly' camera!.
If you want classic sci-fi, you haven't experienced sci-fi-gasma until you've seen "Superman and the Mole-Men!." OK, I'm lying !.!.!. it's hokey!. OLD classics include The Day The Earth Stood Still, War of the Worlds, It, Them, Outland and a real gem: Silent Running!.
If you want some REAL classic sci-fi, rent BladeRunner or any of the 4 Alien movies, or Predator or Total Recall or Minority Report!. yeah!. That's a good start!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

"Cloverfield" was an INTERESTING movie!.!.!. I considered it well worth rental!. ONE thing!.!.!. make sure your viewing room is DARK as it is difficult to see a great deal of the movie due to lighting!. also, be forewarned that it was filmed with a hand-held camera, and the motion can be VERY distracting and almost nauseating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I haven't seen Cloverfield so I couldn't comment on it, but I really like the look of it!.
For a really great Sci-Fi movie you could watch "Chronicles of Riddick" it is just brilliant, or my All Time Favourite "Dune" directed by David Lynch!.

Ya cloverfield is a really good movie!. The camera in the movie is moving all around to make it look like it was filmed by somebody from the movie!. So it kinda looks like a home video!. But the storyline is really good and well!.!.!. its just a really good movieWww@Enter-QA@Com
