Question: Does remembering DOS give the same prestige as does achieving a City&Guilds certificate!?

DOS, the days when a computer had an operating system and application software!. Now, you're lucky if your computer can keep up with the operating system!. They just change the interface and the filing system and you're forced to change the whole damned lot!. Perhaps the fact that hundreds of millions of entire computer systems are going to landfill whenever MS brings out a new operating system should be looked at as an environmental issue!. Oh, wait a minute, somebody's making a lot of money out of it; that's why we never hear of it!. Silly me!.
