Question: What would happen if you were lighting a cigarette up with a nail inside of it!?
My dad smokes cigarettes and he isn't supposed to because the doctor told him not to because he has 5 by passes done on his heart about a year ago and I always get on him about it!. It makes me and my family sad!. He is smoking even more cigarettes today and I don't know if I will have him as adult which is sad and him never seeing his grandchildren!. So, yesterday I saw nails that you put in the wall and when he wasn't around I put a nail inside of the tobacco part of his cigarette!. So, when he lights the cigarette up with the nail inside of it what would happen!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Other than making it a pain to flip his ashes, nothing!. I suspect his increased smoking could be caused by his nerves!. Is he worrying about his heart issues!? There is nothing you can really do for him other than pray!. He will have to be the one to seek help if and when he's ready to quit!. I smoked for about 25 years before I quit and it was because serving Jehovah was more important to me than to smoke!. That was 4 years ago and I'm still smoke free!. Praying for him will help more than getting on him to quit!. Lean on Jehovah :)

I really don't think I would try it!. Your dad has to want to quit!. I have known terminal lung cancer patients who begged for a smoke with their dying breath!. Knew of man who took his last breath with a cigarette in his trachea stoma!. These are not joking matters!. There are those who love smoking more than life!. Your dad may be one of them if he has had Quintuple bypass!. Enjoy being with him while you can!. You are not the cause, you cannot change him, and you are not the cure of his behavior!.
