Yes, I've had friends in the past that has Bipolar and I do know what it is!. I don't have Bipolar, but do have clinical depression and have been involved with the Mental Health Association here!. It's not a pleasant situation when you are with some body who is experiencing an extreme high and not really know what to do to help them!. A friend of mine who was Bipolar was with me when she started hallucinating and I did every thing I knew how to do to get her back to reality!. She had another mental disorder along with her bipolar!. She died quite a few years ago and I really miss her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My niece has bi-polar disorder!. She had rough times for many years mainly because she refused to take her meds!. She even spent 90 days in jail when she was 21 due to a brawl in a local store!. She started on the clerk and then graduated to smacking the cop who answered the emergency call!. I think that was a wake-up call to her and since then she takes her meds without fail!. She still has bad days from time to time, but I believe at 27 she has finally begun to see herself as the person of worth that she is : ) smiles for her and you : )Www@Enter-QA@Com

I believe Bi-Polar has become an excuse for mean, rude, SELFISH, obnoxious people who love being coddled, to step into the spot light! I know real people with chemical imbalances who TAKE their meds, and wouldn't THINK of refusing, because they honestly want to make sure that the people they love aren't having to deal with as much pain as a non medicated person can cause!. However, most people who refuse to take their meds are!.!.!.!. surprise, BI POLAR! I am sick to death of this disorder getting attention! There are real disorders out there!.!.!. people who are born with Autism for one!. Bi Polars always end up showing the tendencies later in life!. How do we even know it's authentic!?
The only way a bi polar could ever make me understand is if they stay on their meds NO MATTER WHAT! That would show me their concern for other people!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was married to a guy with it- he was also an abusive alcoholic (not that one has to do with the other) It could be difficult to live with, especially since he refused to be treated!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes!. My sister has been diagnosed with Bi-Polar!. She lived over 30 years with it before someone finally figured out what was wrong with her!. Sometimes it's very difficult to deal with!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
