Sorry to be contrary and I just couldn't come up with anything funny but wouldn't an ancient Greek yell "Oh Jupiter!" or "Oh Athena!" or something!?

Two answers come to mind!.
1!. Who else have they got to call--if there's no one out there!?
2!. They would probably prefer to call for help from someone named Murgatroyd--but if they did, by the time they finished screaming that long name, it would be too late for anyone to help them anyway!.
So--the shortest name they could yell is "Ed"---but there's way too many Eds, who might be off somewhere else and think the call was for another "Ed"!.!.!.
Next best!? That would be a name with three letters!. Their "dog" would be good to call, except a dog couldn't throw anyone a rope--lacking hands!. So "god" is a good third choice to call out, even for realists!.

hahahaha actually!. my dad's friends always talked about how he didn't believe in god!.!. He was working on the roof one day and he slipped and was sliding down, while sliding he was screaming OH MY GOD! PLEASE GOD SAVE ME GOD! hahaha!. then something caught him!. after that, he started believing in god!.!. I dnt believe in god though!. sadly, i tried, but cnt!. i have my own beliefs Www@Enter-QA@Com
