I have donated quite a lot of blood in the past but haven't done so in years!. The last time, the technician couldn't find a vein after three stabs and it really hurt!. I have small veins but was willing to have two tries!. also, often I needed to eat iron rich foods before I donated!. They got to know me and check first, even before the questions!.
I keep thinking I'll donate, but keep putting it off!. My husband says it usually made me run down!.
Some people are deathly afraid of needles!. Many got the idea that giving blood put you at risk for AIDS!. A lot of people can't give because of health conditions!.
It is sort of like being willing to be an organ donor at death!. People are afraid the doctor will start work while you are still alive!. I signed my card and told my whole family!. Have you!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

no, not YET!. when i'm 18 or w/e the legal age is in canada, i'd be more than happy to save someone's life by donating blood!. i think canada's percent is around 4!.!.!. i was shocked too, considering we all have blood and its not that time consuming to donate it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, for a long time, it only takes a few minutes and is no trouble at all, the government really needs to do more advertising, 6% is pathetic isn't it!? Good question though, maybe it will remind a few people to go a give bloode who have fallen out of the habit:)Www@Enter-QA@Com
