Question: Who is better liked -- Police or Firefighter!?

I have a degree in both Criminal Justice and Fire Science!. I planned a career in both, so I love both!. But firefighters seem to get more of the love than cops do!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

although both sides risk there lives for others, firefighters just go out there and focus on saving lives!.
so do police officers, but, i dont know!.
i just think that i like the idea of a firefighter better!.

firefighters!. cops are not liked!. i personally like police, the ones i met are mostly nice, i feel safe around them!. firemen risk their lives so they are more considered heros!.!.!.but I have known some jerk firemen!.!.!.(nothing against ur hubby, i bet hes wonderful) but both my sisters got cheated on by their firemen bf's!. my one sis was married to one, he abused her n cheated on her!. so yeah, unfortunately a couple jerks made me think twice about firemen!. i'm sure most are great tho!.

firefighter!. probably because in a kid's view they know it as the big yellow trucks that makes loud siren noises and that the men in the yellow suits put out the fire!. also, maybe because kids can go to the fire station for a field trip and ride the fire truck!.

I would say firefighter!.!.!.!.all they do on the job is help people!
However some people in police work (Obviously not you!) do some questionable stuff!.!.!.and of course the people arrested by them!.!.!.whether guilty or innocent, dislike them!. Sometimes the power goes to their head!. Most of the time they are doing what they are doing to help others and keep the place clean and safe!.
But firefighters have no other job except help people!.!.!.and sometimes animals!.

Police are ok sometimes but I'm not a huge fan of them, police aren't strict in Canada so I don't really mind them!.
