Answers:
They believe ice is unsanitary, and a waste of water!. As far as I know this rule is true in France!. I'm not too sure about the rest of Europe!. The best thing to do is to gulp it down so that you don't pay attention to the warmth!.
Chances are, if you ask for ice, they will give you weird looks, and probably make it clear that you are a ditsy tourist!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Some places they do, but they are just used to it!. Like when I was little(1-4) I lived in Italy and while I do like drinks cold, I also don't mind if they are room temperture or a little warm!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They don't!?!?!? That's odd!.!.maybe their water is gross!?

I'm sure the drinks are frozen/chilled prior to the serving!.
You can probably ask them for some ice though!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no ice! no ice! OH MY GOD IT'S A FRICKIN TRAGEDY! A COUNTRY I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH DOESN'T HAVE ICE IN THEIR DRINKS! I NEED MY MEDICINE, THIS IS SERIOUS!Www@Enter-QA@Com

because you don't get free refills, so they give you more soda minus the ice!. that's how it was when i lived in germany!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

they are usually cooled before serving, but If you ask them they will add some however that instantly tags you as an american which isnt always a good thing depending on where you areWww@Enter-QA@Com
