Did you prefer the golden age of radio to todays style?!

I also used to listen to Radio Caroline and Radio Luxembourg under the covers at night!. Yet I'm glad that we no longer have to listen to - what's the recipe today Jim!? Do you remember Stewpot on a Saturday morning!?

I like a mix of both!. But i do think that the music back in the day had more meaning to it!. Nowadays its all about pumping it out & making money!. Back then people use to actually write their own lyrics!. Songs from the heart, ya know what i mean!? A lot of todays music is about sex & money!. When i want to relax, or just listen to some plain old good music i find myself listening to things like Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkle, Fleetwood Mac etc!. I have never heard Radio Caroline!. However, although I am 23 years of age, I have my own radio show on a voluntary radio station, in which I play siongs from the 60s, 70s and 80s!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do and I loved old radio, I never thought I would listen to capitol gold but I do (they have Kid Jensen on!) and I loved radio luxembourg in bed of a night in my youth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I prefer the 80's format!.It's too confined on the music at times,and becomes monotonous as well!.I think jocks were more professional back then and they were much sharper!.Now it's who can be the most outrageous!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
