I always hated my name!. It was Donna and I thought it was too plain Jane!. All of my friends were Michelles, Jennifers, and Christies, but my name was from the wrong generation!. Dull!.
When I turned 36, I gave myself a long awaited gift!. Because I was also named after my sexually abusive father, Donald, I finally mustered up the nerve to change my name!. 20 dollars and 20 minutes!. That's what it took!. My loved ones celebrated with me!.
I changed it to Clare!. (as in Clarity!.) That's one of the best decisions I ever made!. feels empowering to choose!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
