I was born & rasied in So Cali & there are still certain theme parks I have never been to, or wanna go back again cause haven't been in awhile!.
U can go to Orange County:
Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Knotts Berry Farm
Spend the weekend or up to 3 days in San Diego:
Sea World, The view of the ocean/beach, San Diego Wild Aminal Park Zoo
Legoland if u both are into lego's still!.
LA area:
