They aren't as widely used because fewer are in circulation--relative to 1's, 5's, 10's, etc!. Because they are seen as somewhat of an oddity, people will tend to hold on to them, rather then spend them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Stores generally don't like them because they don't have a drawer for them in the cash register, like they do for the $1, $5, $10 and $20, so they're inconvenient to deal with!. Thus, they've never been widely circulated because most circulation starts with and revolves around commerce!.
