Yeah! I've had someone come to offer advertisements and this guy was like really impatient!. So he was ringing my doorbell like a thousand times!. Then believe it or not he was tapping on my windows because I realized i left the t!.v on which is really visible from the window!. So i hid behind the sofa like an idiot because the sofa near window!. He peered in and he looked right at me!. We stared at each other in embarrassment for around 10 seconds! I ran out the room and laughed my head off!. I saw him walk away and shake his head!. Kinda funny!.
I think next time i better just not be lazy and answer the door!.

No, I have never hidden behind my sofa whenever someone knocks on my door because no-one ever knocks on our door!. We get doorbell rings :)
In the past, I have, but only after watching a scary movie!. This one time, a guy came to the door, and I hid behind the couch because I thought he had come to kill me or something o_O!. It turned out to be the mailman XP

Yes, years ago a few fellas were going around door to door selling carpets and stuff, well i must of been behind that sofa for ages, they just kept on banging on the door, i was cracking up laughing i remember, they left anyway but i was still laughing about it later in the day, xxWww@Enter-QA@Com
I used to hide upstairs all the time!.
And I'll do anything to avoid the post guy!. Although it's irritating when I realise I've left the dog outside, so they know there's someone in!.

This guy sat on my steps till three in the morning once because he though i was his ex girlfriend!. He told me he was gonna shove a grapefruit down my throat!!?!!? I put my head out the window and we had a conversation about monster for like 2 1/2 hours!.!.!.!
